Windowed mode

Is it possible to play the game in windowed mode? If yes, how?
Under Windows XP.

well, start the wwconfig.exe and set up your prefered settings.

No, to change the size or exit windowed mode you have to go through the config menu again.

friggi, I meant pressing a key or combination so that the mouse pointer appears, while in game, and you are able to control other things on the desktop.
Not, Alt-Tab.

That will work only if I play with small window. I am willing to go as low as 1600x1200 but not lower than that. So, for example earlier I was able to play while having a small window watching tv, but it was quite small.

The IRC window requires to be much larger or else you might as well not have it side by side.

not side by side, just put your ren window at the top of your screen and tuck your irc window underneath, you'll get half a dozen lines or so to read

That will work if I play the game at 640x480 or 800x600... If I have the game at 1600x1200 then it covers the full height of the screen (I have the task bar on the left.
There is no room underneath it for anything.
