Hi guys,
I have just built myself a new computer.
My old one was an AMD Sempron 2600+ (32bit), 1Gb DDR ram (400speed) 256mb ddr GeForce FX5600 graphics with a 200Gb SATA1 hard drive.
Sometimes when the server was full, my fps was down to less than 10 making me pull my hair out (whats left of it in the first place with 5 kids).
My new one is an AMD AM2 4800+ dual core, 2Gb DDR2 ram (800speed) 512mb ddr2 GeForce8 8500 graphics with 2 250Gb SATA2 hard drives.
I have just finished playing about 6 games and my fps never went below 56, most of the time it was on 60! The gameplay was sooooo smooth.
Now I just have to get better playing the game.....:lol:

Another thing about the motherboard, I can put upto 8Gb of Ram memory in and it has a second PCI express graphics slot so I can have upto 1Gb of graphics power. All that put a new case, dvdrom and a dvdrw all for just £400GBP. Not bad eh? Thats the best part of being able to build them yourself.

Every year Custom PC magazine hold a 'Dream PC' thing where top manufacturers build the most extreme PC they can.
