To RG and NOT TO RG

Some players not using rg, they said if they install renguard, game doesn't work because of system problem...
Do you think it's a valid reason?
For me i think NO... to be fair in game... we must all use rg

I must suffer RG other people should suffer RG too. RG is not working for me, I'm sorry but I don't think it's a valid reason.

I use RG and even with my limited computer skills it hasn't caused me any issues. Besides you get to use all the commands that help the game flow.

Indeed, i dont want players to suffer from system problem.
Besides, i'm not usually rg's to the player who killed me,
but killing me as a stealth in very far range... in many times!.. forced me to rg :lol:

i'm not suspecting as cheater, but just to be fair in game ;)

If a cheater doesnt use RG is better, because you can force him. The problem is the one who use it.

As Hex said, we could use the next version of RG. The current RG has too many technical problems, including incapability with 64Bit systems.

Basically you're saying: "If you're using 64Bit go elsewhere"

RG isnt 100% proof and probably never will be, although I do appreciate the efforts of BHS. Renguard does not work for me, I have sought assistance on this and no one has any idea, so I have given up. IMO it takes too much of the responsibility away from being a moderator anyway, and alot of todays players are frg happy n00bs. I use frg sparingly, if someone is suspected of cheating, I would rather silently observe and ban, failing that request a screenshot or test (this can be frustrating though so I leave this to 2nd). People need to stop abusing the frg commands, if one person frg's someone, a bunch of thier mates will jump on the band wagon frg'ing for absolutely no fair reason at all. Makes me think certain players should have thier access to this command revoked.

Renguard doesn't work on 32 bit systems...or all of them anyway.
Normally I might almost agree with this, but after I spent 6 months tryign to get RG to work, and ultimately had to reinstall windows, I am a little more lenient to people that can't run it. In the next few months when 1.04 (hopefully) comes out, people should run it. Only issue is, will we be able to tell if they're running the old version that still allows all those bypasses? or if it's the new one.
